Military Medicine Day

depoloyable surgical suiteOn Thursday, April 11, 2013, the U.S. Army Forward Surgical Team will host a display of an actual deployable surgical suite.  This event will be held at the UF Reitz Union Grand Ballroom (2nd Floor) at 686 Museum Road.

A panel discussion for premed students will be held in a separate area of the ballroom.  Resident physicians and medical students are invited to participate as well as serve on these panels.  Discussions will include tips for doing well on the MCAT; tips for Interviewing for med school, residencies and more.  Open discussions within the ballroom will also include what it’s like to work in deployed environments, how the U.S. Army can fund your education and supplement your training income.

The U.S. Army needs physicians.  Come learn how you can obtain full-tuition medical school scholarships, how your student loans can be paid off, how you can earn specialty pay, and much more.
