Our Mission

Consistent with University of Florida College of Medicine’s institutional mission, the Graduate Medical Education Office supports over 100 graduate medical education programs that enable our residents and fellows to become independent physicians, scholars, and leaders who optimize the health, well-being and reduce healthcare disparities of patients and their families through safe, high-quality, and innovative patient care; education; quality improvement; research; professionalism; compassion; and, courtesy, both now and in the future.
