What is C4LD?
Coaching for Leadership Development (C4LD) is a one-year, longitudinal program designated for a small group of fellows or senior residents, to teach leadership skills including communication, team dynamics and conflict management.
C4LD teaches content, but more importantly, it makes the participants use their new skills for a whole year in a progressive manner with one-on-one coaching to guide you. It’s different from other leadership programs because of the longitudinal structure, built-in practice, 1:1 coaching component, and local focus.
Who can apply?
C4LD is designed for senior residents and fellows. Application deadline for the 2023-2024 cycle is June 4, 2023. You must complete the application and have your Program Director submit a letter of support.
When will it take place?
Thursday afternoons, twice a month from 3:00-5:00PM in the 3rd floor conference room of the McKnight Brain Institute.
What if I can’t make every session?
75% attendance and completion of all projects requirements is needed to get a certificate of completion for the program. In-person attendance is preferred. Remote attendance is acceptable.
