Welcome to the Program Coordinator Toolkit Series, a structured professional development curriculum designed to support Graduate Medical Education (GME) coordinators at every level. This series offers monthly learning opportunities across multiple tracks, focused skill-building sessions, and on-demand access to recordings and resources.

Our Learning Tracks

Track A – Foundations & Operations

Designed for coordinators seeking strong grounding in essential GME responsibilities.
Topics may include:

  • NRMP & The Match
  • Annual updates to ACGME and institutional requirements
  • Application management, onboarding, and recruitment fundamentals
  • Compliance essentials

Track B – Communication, Leadership & Collaboration

Focused on interpersonal skills, leadership development, and effective communication.
Sessions may include:

  • Conflict management
  • Strategic communication
  • Professional presence & documentation
  • Team dynamics and collaboration

Track C – Innovation, Data & Process Improvement

Created for coordinators interested in advancing efficiency, innovation, and data-driven practice.
Examples include:

Monthly Schedule Structure:

  • Two offerings per month
  • Every month includes one Track A session
  • The second session rotates: some months include Track B, and months without Track B include a Track C session

Will this curriculum change?

Yes. This is a new and evolving curriculum. We actively collect feedback after each session and will update topics throughout the year based on coordinator needs.
